ORIGINS FEEL GOOD CANDLE

I have been a sucker for a candle recently, my house has been decorated with votives, gorgeous scents and even a rotary candle holder, it must be that time of year! Obviously in the winter months it's so nice to light a few candles and feel cosy whilst the room is filled with warming fragrance. When I saw Origins was releasing a Christmassy candle I knew I wanted it! I must have missed out the first time around as when I went on the website I had to enter my details so they could email me when it was back in stock, so it must be a popular choice. Origins has to be one of my favourite skincare brands, so I’m always excited about new releases. The Feel Good Candle is scented with pine, spruce and orange, which just reminds me of Christmas straight away and is perfect near the Christmas tree to get you in the festive mood. This candle would be great if you want your house to smell like a Christmas Tree but you only have an artificial tree. The candle celebrates the Global Releaf 25th Anniversary with the ‘Give & Give Back’ campaign which promises to plant a tree on your behalf when you make a purchase of the candle or a bauble ornament. The candle comes in such clever packaging; the glass container is actually recycled from a wine bottle. The wax is 100% Soy Wax and the wick is 100% cotton. With my online order I also received a free eco-chi tote. I have received one of these before and use it all the time so I was pleased with the added extra. It’s nice to give a little something back around Christmas time and it’s always nice to get something out of it as well. The candle is limited edition and is priced at £35.00. It would make a perfect present or even just a treat for yourself. I will definitely be reusing the glass jar after all the wax has been burnt and maybe use it for my make-up brushes.

ORIGINS ORIGINAL SKIN RENEWAL SERUM

I'm always excited to try a new product from Origins, my skin always gets on with their skincare products, I love the scent of their formulations and the natural ingredients which are used in every pot. I have come more aware of including a serum into my daily skincare routine recently and Origins have definitely read my mind. The Original Skin Renewal Serum is designed for young skin hitting their #QuarterLifeCrisis mid to late twenties, for skin which has lost its glow and is looking kinda dull. This serum claims to de-stress, smooth roughness, get rid of dullness, shrink pores and minimise flaws, so it claims to do a lot!
The formulation contains Persian Silk Tree which helps skin rebound, Chestnut Seed Extract which refines skins texture, Willowherb that restores glow, Algae helps reduce oil to help them appear to vanish and also blurs imperfections.
I first tried this in-store a few months before receiving it for my Birthday. I tried it on the back of my hand and it instantly smoothed my skin and felt silky, super soft and even. I like that this product is aimed at my age bracket, rather than a lot of serums you find for the anti-ageing market. I like the fresh orangey scent of this and it absorbs into my skin nicely without feeling too heavy on the surface. It features floral and citrus essential oils, including notes of rose, grapefruit and amyris. It keeps my skin hydrated and I think that it’s helped with redness.
You can apply this serum to cleansed skin morning and evening, but I'm currently just using it in the evenings before applying my night moisturiser. I have found that my pores instantly look small and my skin looks brighter and plumper. It feels so soft to touch and helps to smooth everything out and diminish bumps and the texture of my skin. I think I will start applying this in the mornings too as I can imagine my makeup gliding over the top of this. I’m sure this would work on most skin types as the gel-like consistency just absorbs into the skin. I also like that it comes in a pump bottle meaning you don't have to keep putting your fingers into a pot or using too much product.
I feel this product is a little pricey at £32.00 for 30ml of product, but you know with Origins that you are putting good quality ingredients onto your skin, with no nasties. As with all Origins products this is Paraben, Phthalate, Mineral Oil and Petrolatum free. I have seen that they've recently released a matching Face Mask to the Original Skin line, so I will definitely have to pick that up soon, I can imagine that’s a dream on the skin!

ORIGINS LEG LIFTS - POST WORKOUT ESSENTIAL

This was an impulse purchase when I dangerously went into Boots after going to the gym one evening. Origins is one of my favourite brands, so I'm always looking for products which I haven't tried before. This is the perfect product to use after the gym and is obviously how my legs were feeling that day when I popped into Boots. Leg Lifts is an invigorating lightweight gel formula which tingles tired thighs and calves to help relax muscles and cool any aches or pains. The formulation contains Menthol, Cypress, Peppermint and Cedarwood. I really like the minty, natural, cooling scent on my skin. But if you are not a fan of such a strong minty scent this product isn't for you, I know my Mum can't stand it. I apply this by gently massaging in upward strokes from the ankles to mid-thigh. The gel is light, quickly absorbs and is best for all skin types. I do suffer sometimes from restless legs at night and find this product really refreshing and soothing on my tense calves. You could even use this product on other tired, heavy areas. It is also really moisturising on my legs as they feel lovely and smooth after use. It also relieves muscle soreness. I like to use this product in conjunction with other soothing products, I like to have a bath with Mio Skincare Liquid Yoga Bath Soak and use Nip & Fab Post Workout Fix straight out of the gym. Another way I like to use it, is applying it to my feet and then pulling over socks to soften tired feet. This product is really long lasting on my skin and it makes me feel more comfortable after using it. I really prefer a gel type formula as it’s not greasy at all on my skin. It is also formulated without Parabens, Phthalates, Propylene Glycol, Mineral Oil, PABA, Petrolatum, Paraffin, DEA, synthetic colour, synthetic fragrance and animal ingredients, which is good if you are trying to avoid these nasties. I still like to use other moisturisers whilst still using this. I most likely use this product in the evenings, after I have been to the gym. I hadn't read or seen any reviews before purchasing this product, but I would definitely recommend it if you are into your exercise, it really does rev up tired legs. Leg Lifts is priced at £22.00 for 150ml, you only need a small amount so I can see this tube lasting me a fair amount of time.

SPRING CLEAN BEAUTY PRODUCT EMPTIES

These are the products I have been loving and using up most recently.
Haircare...Hair products are probably the products I use up the most regularly as I am always changing up my shampoo and styling products. KMS HairPlay Playable Texture, full-size 200ml £11.25 - I had never tried any KMS products before receiving them in a beauty box. This product is a texturising spray, which I like to use when styling my hair. This product gives my hair weightless styling and lasting pliable finish. It can also be used in wet hair as it can be used as a prep spray before blow drying, but I prefer to use it after to help build the style further. I really like the way it makes my layers look and the size was great for travel and my handbag. Would I repurchase? Yes, I need to try some more KMS products. Redken Diamond Oil Shampoo 300ml & Conditioner 250ml, for the set £23.60 - I'm a big fan of Redken haircare and have gone through quite a few of their ranges including; All Soft and Blonde Idol. I have been wanting to try the Diamond Oil range for a while as they are ideal for dull, damaged hair. The formula helps to strengthen, replenish and protects your hair. My hair definitely feels stronger and shiner after using these. Read my full review hereWould I repurchase? Yes, I would definitely use these again. Toni & Guy Casual Rough Texturiser, 200ml £7.19 - I brought this in a Toni & Guy Christmas Set that I managed to pick up in the sale. I always like to use some sort of texturising spray in my hair, but I hadn't used this one before. I really liked the casual, dishevelled matt finish this product gave to my hair. It claims to provide instant root lift and even a backcombed effect. Products like this are so easy to use, as you just work it through with your fingers. Would I repurchase? Yes, I was really pleased with the results. KMS FreeShape Quick Blow Dry, full-size 2ooml £11.45 - This product is a duo phase heat protectant that I received in a beauty box. This product is formulated to make your blow dry quicker, speeding up the time of drying by up to 50%. It also reduces friction while conditioning lightly, whilst also providing protection from heat. I really liked this product, I got on really well with it. Would I repurchase? Yes I need to repurchase this, when I have used up some of my other leave in conditioners, I am definitely a KMS convert.
Skincare...I could talk about skincare all day long, I know trying new products aren't always good for your skin so I like to treat my skin to a few of my favourite products every now and again. Origins Mega-Mushroom Skin Relief Face Cream, full-size 50ml £50.00 - Origins as you know is my favourite skincare brand, I go on about them in most of my blog posts. But I had never tried anything from the Dr. Andrew Weil Mega-Mushroom range before, I brought a Mega-Mushroom Christmas set in the sale. As my skin is quite oily, I don't normally like a thick moisturiser, I prefer a gel like formula. But this face cream was so rich and luxurious on my skin. I liked to apply this in the evenings, it instantly calmed any redness and sensitivity and hydrated my skin at the same time. Would I repurchase? It was a lovely moisturiser, but £50.00 for the full-size tub is quite pricey, I think I will stick to my Make A Difference treatment. Rimmel Fix & Perfect Pro Primer, 30ml £6.99 - I really like this primer from Rimmel. For the price, it's so affordable to what it is. You get 30ml of product which lasts for ages and it definitely does a great job of smoothing and resurfacing my face before I apply my base products. It also brightens my skin, as well as keeping my oily skin at bay. I feel my foundation stays around for much longer when I apply this and it protects my skin from breakouts. Would I repurchase? Yes, I already have.  Soap & Glory Drama Clean Micellar Cleansing Water, 200ml £6.00 - I was so excited when this was released. I'm a big fan of Soap & Glory and was so happy to see something new in the range. A lot of brands have released micellar waters, but this one was great at getting rid of most of my make-up and daily dirt before cleansing fully. I am not a big fan of the scent, Peach and extracts of natural cucumber juice, it is nice and fresh, but I normally like my cleansers not to smell too strong. Read my full review hereWould I repurchase? Maybe, but it's not my favourite. Origins Make A Difference Plus+ Treatment Lotion, full-size 150ml £20.00 - I really like to apply this product in the evenings after using a toner. It helps to refresh my skin and I always notice a difference after I've used this. I apply a little bit on to a cotton pad and swipe it over my face, it just lets me know I haven't got any leftover make-up on my skin. My skin is left hydrated and ready to be moisturised. I always pick up these mini sizes in Christmas gift sets and haven't had to buy a full-size yet. Would I repurchase? Yes, I'm on to my next bottle. Clarins Daily Energiser Cream, 30ml £18.45 - This moisturiser is great to use in the mornings as a little pick me up. It really does help to energise the skin and awaken me ready for the day ahead. I love the glass jar it comes it and it's the perfect consistency for my skin. It's more of a gel type moistuser which my skin adores. It leaves my skin super soft and prepped ready for my make-up. Would I repurchase? Yes I would.
Bodycare & Other...Bourjois Magic Nail Polish Remover, 75ml £4.99 - This was a great little innovation when this first hit the market. The idea of just dipping your finger into a pot and the nail polish was gone was such a genius beauty tool which didn't need you to faff around with cotton pads and spilling it everywhere. I really liked using this at first, it got rid of my nail polish quickly and it does condition your nails with almond oil at the same time. After using this for quite a while, the solution gets really dirty and your nails come out still with polish on. Would I repurchase? I think they are great for travel, but don't last long enough for me. Queen Of... Shaving gel Pina Colada Twist, 150ml £4.29 - I'm not going to lie, I did just buy this for the Pina Colada scent, but I have tried this shaving gel before in another scent and really enjoyed it. The tropical scent was lovely and the formulation comes out like a gel which is really moisturising on my legs. It gives me protection from the razor and it doesn't leave any irritations. My legs feel super smooth after shaving. Would I repurchase? Yes, I normally pick these up on offer in Supermarkets. Soap & Glory Foam Call Body Wash, 500ml £6.50 - I have raved so many times about Soap & Glory shower gels before, I always have one on the go. This scent is a fruity one which has notes of frozen yuzu, orange oil, green fig, and jungle pomelo essence. The scent would be perfect to use on a summers day or on holiday. I find the formula really moisturising and I love the massive pump bottles. Would I repurchase? Always. Make Believe Gradual Self Tan, 200ml £15.60 - I have been using this gradual self tan for years. I'm not a big fake tan user but when I do I like to use something that will give me a gradual golden glow instead of a full on tan. This comes out white and doesn't go streaky at all, I like the scent as it's not too over powering and it seems to last about a week before I need to reapply. This is also great to use after a holiday to top-up your natural tan so it stays around for longer. I like to apply this with a mitt as nobody likes orange hands. Wax Lyrical Gingerbread Reed Diffuser, 50ml £6.00 - I have never used a reed diffuser before in my bedroom, but my Mum picked me up this just before Christmas because she knows I love everything Gingerbread. This was lovely to use throughout Christmas, it smells exactly like gingerbread so it filled up my whole bedroom and I could smell it everytime I walked into the room. I was really impressed with the scent as the diffuser is quite small. It also lasted a long time, so is perfect if you're looking for something to give a room a nice scent. Would I repurchase? Definitely, I will have to have a look at the other scents.

SPRING BEAUTY WISH LIST

I have been rather good with my Beauty spending recently and have been trying to use up what I already have. But I do have a Beauty Wish List the size of my arm and I'm trying really hard to resist. These are the products I have been lusting over the most and hopefully will get around to purchasing soon. Let me know if you have tried and loved any of them.
Urban Decay Naked On The Run Palette, £37.00 – I am a big fan of Urban Decay Eye Shadows, they're probably the first ones I used as a teenager and haven’t strayed from them since. This palette has been on my wish list since it first came out, but I have so many palettes to use, I’m not sure if I can justify another one. This palette has it all, it includes; five Eye Shadows, a Bronzer, a Blusher, a Highlighter, plus a travel-size Perversion Mascara, a travel-size 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil and a full-size Naked Ultra Nourishing Lipgloss. So you can create a full look with one compact set, so ideal for travel. Urban Decay Eye Shadows are buttery, pigmented and last for ages on my lids. The shades are neutral for day or you could even smoke up the darker shades for an evening look. The palette currently has 20% off at Feelunique, so I may be tempted to put in a little order.
Origins Original Skin Renewal Serum with Willowherb, 30ml £32.00 – Origins is my favourite Skincare brand, I haven't found a product I didn't like. This is Origins latest release, I tried it on my skin the last time I was in a Boots and really liked it. This product helps to restore glowy skin, Willowherb restores glow, Algae helps reduce oil to help them appear to vanish and shrink pores. The formulation also smoothes roughness as Chestnut Seed Extract refines texture and Persian Silk Tree helps skin rebound and de-stress. It also minimizes flaws and blurs imperfections so is perfect to use under moisturiser in the mornings.
Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel, 100ml £28.00 – Cleansers are probably one of my favourite Skincare products to purchase. I have so many, this product has been on my wish list for a while. Again, this is a product I have heard so many good things about. I have tried the mask in the range before and loved that. The formulation is full of natural ingredients and vitamins. It helps to strengthen and revitalise skin whilst eliminating every last speck of residual and everyday grime. The formula has a lovely Chamomile & Rose scent that melts into the skin and turns milky when splashed with water, so perfect to use in the evenings.
Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat Lip Liner in Pillow Talk, 1.2g £16.00 – I haven't tried too many products from Charlotte’s range, but everything I have tried has been dreamy. I have heard so many good things about her nude lip liner that I need to try it for myself.  I don't wear lip liner very often but I'm looking for something to make my everyday lip colours last longer. The reason I haven't plumped quite yet is probably because I don't wear lip liner every day and they are £16.00 a pop. I can imagine the formulation is really creamy and easy to apply, I will definitely have to pick one up the next time I'm near a Selfridges.
Lush Hoppity Poppity Bath Bomb, £2.50 each – I always like to buy something from the Lush seasonal ranges. I have spotted this cutie, which is a rabbit shaped bath bomb on the website. It contains popping candy, violet leaf, lavender and lime oil, I really like the sound of the fresh scent. I will definitely have to pick up a few golden eggs too, as I loved those last year.

CURRENT TRANSITIONAL SKIN SAVIOURS - BODYCARE

Over the colder months the weather causes my skin to become drier, duller and higher maintenance. Skin and hair should be taken care of according to the season. When Winter comes, the cold weather outside destroys the lipid layer that protects the skin against dryness. As we transition into Spring I like to carry on with this routine to help my skin prepare for the Summer months. I still like to exfoliate in the Winter months to pep up my skin and always moisturise my feet and hands before I go to sleep. There are a few products I like to use to ensure my skin keeps in it's best shape as we step into Spring.
Soap & Glory Butter Yourself Smoothing Body Cream, 300ml £10.50 – My favourite bath and body brand has to be Soap & Glory. I have tried all the different scents and haven't found one I didn't like. The fruitigo fragrance is more of a summery, fruity scent but I can't get enough of the fragrance. The formula is thick, moisturising and hydrating and it sinks into the skin really nicely. You can smell the scent for hours after applying. This scent is lovely as we are coming into Spring, as it's so fresh and gorgeous. I will always repurchase one of the Soap & Glory body butters as you can't go wrong for the price. You definitely get your moneys worth as a pot lasts a long time and I use it all over my body.
Soap & Glory Sit Tight Saddlebags+, 85ml £16.50 – This is a great product to use after the gym. You can use it on targeted areas like the tops of the arms and legs. This serum is formulated to help visibly firm and tighten skin, smooth stubborn areas, rehydrate and reduce skin roughness. The product is really easy to use, you squeeze the product out on to the roller and massage gently over the skin. You let the product absorb into the skin and you can feel a little tingle sensation which makes me feel like something is working. If I use the product regularly I notice that my skin tightens and tones a little in certain areas. I have written a full blog post about this product here.
Nip & Fab Bust Fix Plumping Treatment, 100ml £16.29 – I have been using this product for quite a while now, it’s not something I use every day, but I do notice a difference when I do use it. The formula is a light serum which visually plumps, smoothes and firms skin around the chest area. It is quite pricey for a high street cream but they always have deals on in Boots. As you are only using this in one area, this tube has lasted me so long that they have changed the packaging. This works great on stretch marks, the only downside is that it doesn't have a lovely scent. It absorbs nicely and leaves no residue.
This Works Perfect Heels Rescue Balm, 75ml £16.00 – I like to use a balm product on areas I feel need a little more moisturising, my feet probably need the most attention. This balm is a really thick texture that helps to prevent and repair cracked heels and dry feet. The formula is made with cotton thistle extract, refreshing lemon oil and soothing lavender, which makes for a really relaxing scent. It absorbs really easily into the skin and makes my feet feel so much better if I’ve had a long day. I must admit I probably wouldn't repurchase it at £16.00, I'm a big fan of the Soap & Glory Heels Genius which is a third of the price at £5.50 and you probably get similar results.
Origins Make a Difference Hand Treatment, full-size 75ml £19.00 – I have raved about this hand treatment before, it’s probably the best hand cream I've tried. It’s not sticky or greasy like other creams. You only need to apply a little amount onto your hands and the scent is lovely. It’s great on dry areas and I also like to rub it into my cuticles. The formulation is thick and creamy and it really helps to moisturise and protect my hands. It is quite pricey for a hand cream but I like to pick up these smaller sized tubes in Christmas gift sets.
Margaret Dabbs Nourishing Nail & Cuticle Serum, 15ml £12.00 – I like to use this product before giving myself a pedicure, It’s a really lightweight cream. I received this product in one of my beauty boxes and had never heard of this brand before. It helps to strengthen, protect and hydrate nails and cuticles. I like that the bottle comes with an easy to use pump and it's small enough to use on the go.

FIVE AUTUMN BEAUTY FAVOURITES - OCTOBER 2014

As the the nights are getting colder and darker my beauty routine has started to change to suit the Season. Last week I was in 30+ degree weather on holiday and now I'm back in rainy England, so my skin and shade preferences have adjusted dramatically and my skin needs more looking after. I have started to bring out the heavier scents as I wear lighter fragrances in the Summer. One of my favourite to wear during the day or evening is the Thierry Mugler Alien Essence Absolue. I love the original Alien fragrance, but this one is more musky, woody and just reminds me of Autumn. The scent is intense and deep, it's main notes are Jasmine, Vanilla and White Amber. The fragrance stays around for hours and I love the shape of the bottle and liquid amber colour.
My skin starts to get drier as the weather gets colder and one of the main product I reach for it the Origins Make A Difference Rejuvenating Hand Treatment. This is a sample size I got in a Christmas set and it does wonders for your hands! It's not too thick a formula and doesn't leave a greasy film on your hands either. The scent is a nice light, orange blossom scent and I like to use this on my hands as well as any other dry areas like my elbows and knees. This is a handy sized bottle to throw in my handbag and I think this would make a great gift for Christmas!
I like to wear a higher coverage foundation in the colder months. My favourite higher end foundation has to be the Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation, which I have loved for a few years now. This gives a lovely, flawless base which looks natural but can be built up to a full satin coverage. It has light-reflective properties which cause fine lines and wrinkles to optically vanish. I like that this foundation stays around all day and the shade Soft Ivory matches my fair skin tone perfectly as my tan fades.
My make-up preferences have also changes to darker, vampy shades instead of the bright lips and nails I was sporting in Summer. The Revlon Colorstay Moisture Stains have fast become one of my favourite lip products to apply. I currently have three shades, but this is my Autumn favourite in Parisian Passion which I mostly like to wear in the evenings. They're easy to apply, create bold colour and lasts on the lips for hours. I have done a full blog post on these here. My nails have also been painted in berry shades, I especially like this Butter London Nail Lacquer in Shambolic which is a lovely sparkly, glitter purple. I bought this in a set which comes with a matching lip gloss. I think this lip and nail combo would look great together!

WHAT'S IN MY TRAVEL WASH BAG/IN-FLIGHT BAG - DUBAI EDITION

I'm off to Dubai next weekend and of course the first thing I've packed are my toiletries. I have collected so many mini sized samples by getting numerous beauty boxes a month, so it's a great time to use them up and try new things. I always find these sort of posts helpful when I'm packing myself and by doing my own version I can look back on this when I travel in the future. Let me know if I have forgotten anything or think I might benefit from taking something else or if you have tried any of these products and what you thought about them.
In my main Kate Spade wash bag which I will be putting in my main luggage there is; Kerastase Nutritive Bain Satin 1 and Lait Vital which I received in a Look Fantastic beauty box, my hair loves these. I have also popped in a couple of Bumble and Bumble samples of the Surf and Thickening shampoo and conditioner, if I want to use something different. For styling products I have; the KMS Free Shape Quick Blow Dry Spray, KMS Hair Play Texturising Spray, Bumble and Bumble Shine Finishing Spray and the Philip Kingsley One More Day Dry Shampoo. I have my favourite Mitchum Shower Fresh Deodrant, Korres Citrus Shower Gel and Body Milk which I also received in beauty boxes, thought this scent would be great to use on holiday! For sun lotion I have packed the Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration SPF 30 Protective Sun Lotion and the matching After Sun, which I always get along with. I also have a Coola SPF 30 Classic Sunscreen for my face, which I'm looking forward to using properly. My skin is very pale so I have also throw in a St Tropez Instant Tan Wash Off Face & Body Lotion for the start of the holiday. For skincare I have packed the Ren Rosa Centifolia 3-in-1 Cleansing Water, which I already use full-size and the Ren Rosa Centifolia Cleansing Gel. For toning I'm using the Premae Skincare Balance Rescue Face Tonique and if my face wants a treat I have the Ren Flash Rinse 1 Minute Facial. I also have a couple of sachets of Origins GinZing Refeshing Scrub Cleanser and a tub of Benefit It's Potent Eye Cream, which I can't get enough of. I then just have essentials like the Elegant Touch Nail Polish Remover Pads, a standard razor, flannels and muslin cloths, cotton pads, cotton buds, hair elastics and a tanning mitt.
In my In-Flight bag which contains 100ml and under products which will be in my hand luggage I have packed; the Cowshed Cow Slip Antibacterial Hand Gel, Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream (which is holy grail!), Gatineau Collagene Expert Smoothing Face Cream, La Roche-Posay Thermal Spring Water Spray which will be my life saver at the beach. Origins Make a Difference Rejuvenating Hand Treatment and Peace of Mind On-The-Spot Relief which I like to use just before boarding my flight. I also have my mini toothpaste and toothbrush, hand and face wipes, Eve Lom Kiss Mix Lip Balm, a mini first aid kit containing plasters and a hair bobble. I also have three mini perfume samples; Thierry Mugler Alien, Ghost Eclipse and Chanel Coco Noir as I'm hoping to pick up the new Chloe - Love Story perfume in Duty Free. I will definitely have to review my favourite products of the holiday when I come back.

CURRENT AUTUMN SKINCARE HEROES

I wrote about my evening skincare routine back in July here, I have since then used up products and swapped in new products that suit the change in season. I have combination to oily skin type and these products are currently working for me, as you may be able to tell I'm a big fan of Origins.
Origins Dr Weil Mega Mushroom Skin Relief Soothing Face Cream - This is the first Dr Weil product I have tried from Origins and I’m really enjoying it so far. It’s much thicker than what I’m used to, I normally use Origins Night-a-mins or Make a difference plus + rejuvenating treatment which are more of a gel like formula and oil free. This cream hydrates and instantly calms skin, so I like to apply it in the evenings. This formula visibly reduces redness and sensitivity. This is great for the colder months, the scent is very pleasant too. I bought this in a Christmas set last year, the cream is pretty pricey separately but I’m looking forward to trying the other products in the range.
Origins Plantscription Youth-Renewing Face Oil* - This is a product I received to try through the Debenhams Beauty Club. This is again the first product I have tried from the Plantscription Anti-Ageing range. I like to apply this in the evenings and swap and change between this and The Body Shop Vitamin E one. It has done my skin the world of good, it contains 20 precious oils from around the world including; Raspberry Seed Oil, Argan Oil, Tamanu Oil and Evening Primrose. This helps repair skin’s barrier and replace vital youth-renewing lipids lost with age. This oil leaves my skin silky soft and is soothing without being greasy. I like to use 2/3 drops of this oil, warm it between my hands and gently press the oil into my skin before applying my moisturiser.
Indeed Labs Eysilix Eye Cream - I have really got into using Indeed Labs recently, after really enjoying Hydraluron and the Facial Powdered Exfoliator religiously. I picked up this eye cream as it looked very similar to the Balance Me wonder eye cream which I love. I think I prefer a squeeze tube eye cream than a pot, it's more hygienic as you can squeeze it straight into place. It is a little more pricey than what I'd normally like to spend on an eye cream but I have really enjoyed using this and Indeed Labs are always on some kind of offer in Boots. It helps reduce the appearance of puffiness, dark circles, fatigue and crows feet. It's creamy but still light on the skin. At 23, I haven't got many wrinkles but it's nice to know I might be preventing them.
Benefit They're Real Remover - I was a bit sceptical about using a cream based eye make-up remover as I normally like to use an oil based remover, but I was surprised how much I liked using it. As we know They're Real mascara is a pain to remove, but using this makes it so much easier. It's creamy, not irritating on the eye area and removes every last bit of mascara before I go in with a cleanser. The cream formula feels like it's conditioning my lashes as it's not harsh at all. It lifts off waterproof makeup and even the new push up liner, read more here.
Clarins Gentle Exfoliator - This is a brightening, exfoliating toner which I like to use after cleansing. It helps to smooth and soften skin and prevents a build up of dead skin cells. It's great for blemishes, helps to strengthen the skin's resistance to wrinkles and encourages cell renewal. This is so gentle to use and I like to use it about 2 or 3 times a week. It's suitable for all skin types and I'm a total convert to chemical exfoliants as they get rid of flaky, dry skin and leave my skin looking radiant and fresh.

MOST REPURCHASED BEAUTY PRODUCTS

I am the sort of girl who likes to buy and try new products on a regular basis, but there are some products which I have to repurchase time and time again because I love them and know they work for me. There isn't many, but here is the selection of products I always miss when I run out of them and simply can't live without.
Origins VitaZing - This is my go to morning/day moisturiser, I have repurchased this so many times. I do sometimes try something else but always end up going back to this. The formulation has an SPF15 and I really like that it comes with an added tint to even out my skin tone. This energy boosting moisturiser is really hydrating, gives you glowing, radiant skin and is best for dehydrated skin types. If i'm not going out that day, I will just apply this and it gives me the light coverage I need. It absorbs really quickly into the skin and has a really light texture and doesn't make my skin feel oilier.
V05 Dry Shampoo - This has to be my favourite drugstore dry shampoo that I've tried so far. It doesn't leave white marks at all, it smells great, not musky and it gets rid of oily roots. It's really affordable, I just wish they did a travel sized version. It's really light and refreshing in the hair and it comes in two version, Plump me up which gives you added volume and Refresh me quick, which is my favourite. I like to use it on busy mornings or after the gym if I haven't got time to wash my hair. I always have one of these on stand by.
Soap & Glory Body Wash - Soap and Glory do some of my favourite bath and body products from the drugstore. I always have one of their shower gels on the go, Foam Call is the one i'm currently using. I love that they come in these massive 500ml pump bottles which last ages and the pump makes it so easy to dispense the products. All the scents are lovely, this one is really fruity and fresh and they lather up nicely on the body. I swap and change between the scents, I think Rich & Foamous has to be my all time favourite. The formulation is really moisturising, the scent last for ages and you can layer up the products with your favourite S&G body scrub or moisturiser.
Origins Make A Difference Plus+ Rejuvenating Treatment - This is another Origins product I am forever repurchasing as I know it only does good things to my skin. It's a wonder cream for blemishes and clears them up quickly over night. I like the treatment version over the cream as it's more of a gel formula which is perfect for my combination/oily skin type. The formula is oil free and instantly boosts skins hydration. I like to use this in the evenings to finish my skincare routine and the scent is just lovely. I have found by using this the general look of my skin has improved massively.
Chloe Fragrances - Chloe has to be my all time favourite classic signature scent, and I have bought into most fragrances they have brought out. I am currently really liking the Chloe - Roses de Chloe scent, which has gorgeous notes of rose, bergamot, amber and white musk but still has the classic, floral fresh Chloe smell. I will continue to purchase Chloe fragrance as I know they suit me, they're great quality and last ages on my skin. I have also really been loving their See by Chloe line. I can't wait for Chloe's newest fragrance to be released which is called Love Story.

END OF SUMMER BEAUTY EMPTIES - HAIR, BODY & SKINCARE

Empties posts are some of my favourite blog posts to read. I probably get through hair products the most, but this post is a mixture of beauty products which I have finished recently.
Lee Stafford My Big Fat Healthy Hair Shampoo, 250ml £5.99 - This is actually a product my mum passed onto me as she wasn't enjoying it. I used to really like Lee Stafford products when I was a teen, especially their hair growth treatment. This shampoo was ok, as it was a volume boosting formula it had grittiness to the formula which didn't make my hair feel too clean after use. It did work at creating more volume though. Would I repurchase? Probably not, but I'm interested to try the new Ubunto Oil range, which smells gorgeous!
Soap & Glory Orangeasm Body Wash, 500ml £6.50 - I always have a Soap & Glory body wash on the go, this citrus scented one is the newest in the collection. I love this scent, it's great to use in the mornings to refresh and revitalise your body. I can't get enough of the pump bottles, it lathers up well and the 500ml sized bottles last ages, read more here. Would I repurchase? Yes, definitely.
Liz Earle Botanical Shine Conditioner for Normal Hair, 200ml £8.75 - I featured the shampoo in another empties here. This was my first try of anything other than skincare from Liz Earle, and I wasn't disappointed. The shampoo is free from SLS and only contains naturally active ingredients, I really enjoyed the results, it left my hair glossy and soft. Would I repurchase? Yes, I really enjoyed the product.
Naked Blonder Lightening Conditioner, 250ml £3.98 - This is a great conditioner to use through the Summer months. Another natural conditioner, it really brings out my blonde highlights and I really like the Cassia and Sunflower Oil scent. I featured the shampoo here, it really moisturised my dry ends and the product didn't build up in my hair which I liked. Would I repurchase? Yes, maybe next summer.
Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Shampoo, 400ml £3.99 - I have had this empty for ages, I mentioned the conditioner in this post here. I love the coconut scent, this is a product I pick up on offer as I know it works and does the job. It makes my hair feel moisturised and shiny and it's really affordable. Suitable for dry/damaged hair, my favourite product from the range has to be the intensive conditioner. Would I repurchase? Yes, if it's on offer.
Charles Worthington Volume & Bounce Shampoo & Conditioner, 250ml £5.99 each - I purchased this shampoo and conditioner after really enjoyed the dry texturising spray from the range. I found the bottles really tricky to get the product out, but the formula did create volume from the roots and my hair did appear thicker. The formula also contains heat protectant which you don't normally see from a shampoo or conditioner. The scent was lovely and I really enjoyed using the pair. Would I repurchase? Yes, I would try other products from the Salon at Home range.
Rituals Qi Gong Anti-Perspirant Spray, 50ml £8.00 Full-Size - This was a sample that I received from a beauty box, but I have really been enjoying Rituals products recently. This was nice to use from my usual deodorant, I liked the Organic White Lotus & Yi Yi Ren scent and the product helped me stay sweat free throughout the day. Would I repurchase? Deodorant isn't normally a product I like to spend money on, but this was lovely.
Kerastase Resistance Ciment Thermique, 125ml £14.60 - This is my go to heat protectant. I love the leave in cream texture, it's suitable for dry, damaged hair and the scent is heavenly. It reminds me of that classic hairdressers scent and I always apply this if I'm going to blow-dry or style my hair with straighteners. A little pricey, but a little goes a long way and the bottle lasts a while. Would I repurchase? Yes definitely, I need it back in my stash.
Beauty Protector Leave In Condtioner, Full-Size £15.00 - Another product from a beauty box, I used this while travelling and instantly got on with it. The scent is lovely when sprayed into the hair, I like that it comes with a pump and it really does help protect hair and detangle any knotty bits. It's suitable for all hair types and it's exclusive to Birchbox. Would I repurchase? Yes, I would also love to try the oil in the range.
Umberto Giannini Pure Beauty Shampoo and Intense Beauty Conditioner, 75ml £5.60 each Full-Size - I tried these hair products in a Christmas set from boots. I really like the packaging and the formulas really helped cleanse and restore my hair. My hair felt moisturised and hydrated and looked shiny. Would I repurchase? Yes, I would try other products in the range.
Bioderma Sensibio H20 Micelle Solution, 250ml £9.99 - I always end up coming back to this cleansing water. It's great at cleansing, removing make-up and soothing the skin. I always make sure I have one of these on the go, you can't go wrong with this stuff. All of these skincare products featured in my Skincare routine here. Would I repurchase? Yes, always.
Origins Zero Oil Pore Purifying Toner, 150ml £18.50 - I love this toner, it's great for my oily skin. The Mint really helps to control oil and the Saw Palmetto helps to clear skin and minimise pores. I like that it gives my skin a smooth matte finish and that my skin feels refreshed after use. Would I repurchase? Yes, I need to.
Origins High-Potency Night-A-Mins 50ml £34.50 - This is the oil-free mineral enriched cream which I like to apply every evening. I switch between this and the Make A Difference Treatment, they both smell lovely and renew my skin overnight. Origins has to be my favourite brand for moisturisers at the moment. Would I repurchase? Yes, I love this product.
Soap & Glory Supereyes Supereyes Moisturising Gel, 15ml - I don't think you can purchase this product any more, it has either been discontinued or the name and packaging has changed. I really like using a gel formula rather than a cream for around my eyes. As I am still in my early 20's I think it's nice to use something not too heavy and something that will hydrate my skin instead. Would I repurchase? Yes, I would purchase a different Soap & Glory eye cream.
Clarins Pure Melt Cleansing Gel, 125ml £20.00 - This is such a nice cleanser, it comes out as a gel formula and once you mix it with water it becomes a milk consistency. It's nice and light on the skin and breaks down make-up really well. Would I repurchase? Yes I would love to, but I have so many cleansers to use.
Have you tried any of these products?
